I seem to find the expression "Only in New York" surfaces in conversation a lot. Like "only in NY" do you pay $18 for a cocktail and think it's normal... or "only in NY" do you see transvestites daily and not judge the fact that they're cross-dressing, but judge how pretty they look and if you like their outfit. I died of laughter when I saw this cross walk sign in the East Village defaced to flip the bird when the hand is held. It made me think... "only in New York"! I walk past this sign every day and it never ceases to put a smile on my face. I'm going to miss the quirkiness of NYC for sure!
