Morocco is know as the place to go for spices. The traditional Moroccan cuisine consists of 40 different spices all in one dish, a spice blend which is sold in many shops. Despite knowing all this, I had no idea how many spice dealers there would be in Marrakech! It was a treat to see all of the spices, piled up in vicarious mountainous peaks that look as though they could collapse at any given moment. Here are some of my spice shots!
